Our Bridal Story
Every love story begins with a spark, and ours began with a needle and thread.
First Comes Love was founded in 2022 by renowned bridal alterationist Mary Brown, whose experience studying design in London gave brides a timeless blend of artistry and elegance.
In 2024, that story found a new chapter when Bridal Expert Katia Soto took the helm, following her heart back to her first love: sewing.
After a successful career in the diamond industry, she returned home to work with The Sewing Basket, discovering joy not just in fabrics and stitches, but in helping dreams take shape.
So when the opportunity arose to take the helm of First Comes Love, it felt written in the stars.
Today, Katia and her dedicated team continue the boutique’s founding tradition of devotion and detail, guiding each bride on a journey to find the dress that tells her love story.
